The Crescent Moon

• Symbol of Isis, Diana/Artemis and the Virgin Mary
  

• Marks the beginning of the month for followers of Islam.
  

• Worn as ornaments by pagan Midianites:

Judges 8:26   And the weight of the gold rings that he requested was one thousand seven hundred
pieces of gold –  besides the crescent ornaments, and the pendants, and purple robes which were
on the kings of Midian besides the chains that were around their camels’ necks.

Isaiah 3:17-18  Therefore Yahweh will strike with a scab the crown of the head of the daughters of Zion,
and Yahweh will uncover their secret parts." In that day Yahweh  will take away the finery: the jingling
anklets, the scarves, and the crescents;

Would Yahweh use this pagan symbol to mark the beginning of a month in His calendar?
